High levels of safety, capacity, flexible use, and simple installation – these are the key features of the new Modex Flex staircase and the Bosta Alu staircase G2 from Hünnebeck.
With a load capacity of 7.5 kN, the new Modex Flex stairs are mainly used in areas where high demands exist for load capacity or the passage width – in construction, in public buildings and at events. The system meets the requirements of TRBS 2121-1, the high-rise building ordinance, the event ordinance, and the guidelines for escape routes. It also meets all geometric requirements according to DIN EN 18065 for public stairs.
The Modex Flex stairs are versatile. They are particularly flexible as the steps are constructed from system planks from Hünnebeck’s Modex and Bosta scaffolding systems. This allows a cost-effective solution to varying the stair width easily. The stairs come in three sizes, whereby an exit grid of 50 cm is possible. The construction of Modex Flex stairs is symmetrical because it has no right or left stringer. If required, a double flight of stairs can be realized. The railing acts both as an anti-lift safety device for the scaffold planks and as a diagonal bar, eliminating the need for additional components.
The Bosta aluminum stairs G2 can also be used flexibly with three different climbing heights. The external railing acts as a V-diagonal – meaning that fewer individual parts have to be assembled and therefore representing a clear increase in efficiency. All components are bolted; repair work can be carried out easily and quickly. Accordingly, the stairs have no welds that have to be additionally tested and evaluated. Compared to the predecessor model, the new Bosta aluminum stairs G2 have a double load capacity of 2 kN. This complies with DIN EN 12811 for scaffold stairs, BGR 113 „Stairs for construction work” and TRBS 2121-1 for the safe assembly of scaffolds.
