The booming high-rise construction sector is stimulating growth in the construction industry. Equally, it presents construction companies with complex challenges. High-rise buildings are often architectural landmarks with sophisticated geometries that require special formwork. In addition: Their locations in densely populated inner cities and in confined spaces usually prevent the use of cranes and also require smart solutions for material logistics.
At bauma 2019, Hünnebeck will present bundled expertise and concrete solutions for the challenges of high-rise construction. “We combine our systems individually and precisely for our customers’ projects,” explains Martin Hemberger, Managing Director of the Hünnebeck Group. “The result is tailor-made formwork concepts that can be implemented economically and guarantee safe, efficient and on-schedule construction progress.”
The Key Account Management (KAM) team, which Hünnebeck has set up for such projects, plays a key role in high-rise construction. “This underpins our claim, as a partner of the construction industry, to manage extensive projects economically and profitably for our customers,” explains Hemberger. The KAM team continuously supports customers from the bidding phase onwards, channeling the input from specialists and coordinating all desired services. These services range from project planning, including formwork concepts and construction progress planning, to site supervision and pre-assembly and logistics services.
Safety, in particular, is of paramount importance in high-rise construction. At the Hünnebeck stand in the “Digital Solutions” area, visitors to bauma will be able to experience how Hünnebeck factors in safety aspects and implements them on site as if they were live at the construction site – with the help of Virtual Reality (VR).
Hünnebeck will also be demonstrating Safescreen, the self-climbing windscreen system, at the trade fair. The system has already proven its functionality on construction sites in Germany and abroad. Its easy-to-mount modules mean that up to four working levels can be enclosed simultaneously. Safescreen thus not only provides fall protection for the construction site teams, but also offers them reliable protection against wind and weather influences.
The further development of the successful Manto and Rasto wall formwork systems opens up additional efficiency potential for Hünnebeck customers on high-rise construction sites. The new generation of Manto and Rasto wall formwork, for example, enables significant time and efficiency gains thanks to one-sided anchoring technology and innovative fasteners. Further advantages are their compatible platform systems and a high-quality all-plastic form lining. The latter ensures an even concrete appearance and is easy and uncomplicated to clean on the high-rise construction site. This also ensures less rework and thus faster construction progress.
